IOSS Services Provisions
BEFORE YOU PARTICIPATE IN INTEGRATED OFFSHORE STANDARD SPECIFICATION (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS "IOSS"), PLEASE READ THE TERMS OF THESE IOSS SERVICES PROVISIONS FOR THIS WEB PAGE USAGE. BY USING THE APPLICABLE IOSS, ENTERING INTO AN INSERTION ORDER OR OTHER ORDER FORM REFERENCING THIS SERVICES AGREEMENT, AND/OR BY CLICKING A BUTTON AND/OR CHECKING A BOX INDICATING YOUR ACCEPTANCE, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THESE SERVICES PROVISIONS. BEING A MEMBER OF THIS IOSS WEB PAGE IS SOLELY USE FOR THIS WEB PAGE SERVICES AND IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH BEING A IOSS PARTICIPANT. IN ORDER TO BEING A IOSS PARTICIPANT, "HOW TO BECOME A IOSS PARTICIPANT" PAGE UNDER "ABOUT US" MUST BE REFERRED.
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these provisions is to prescribe the rights, obligations and responsibilities of IOSS custodian/owner and users regarding the use of IOSS services provided by IOSS custodian/owner (named KOSHIPA) as the designated certification authority.

Article 2 (General)
IOSS is a voluntary initiative and open to any operators or any client companies that build or may be thinking about building offshore structures to become a IOSS participant. To access these IOSS services, anyone who is interested in IOSS services or wishes to be involved in IOSS initiative can join.

Article 3 (Obligation of IOSS Custodian)
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure the accuracy of the information contained in this webpage and publications, neither IOSS Custodian (KOSHIPA) nor any of its participants past, present, or future warrants its accuracy or will, regardless of its or their negligence, assume liability for any foreseeable or unforeseeable use made thereof, which liability is hereby excluded. In addition, there is no obligation for IOSS Custodian to provide updates. No representations or warranties whatsoever are made with respect to the sufficiency or compliance with any laws or regulations. Consequently, such use is at the recipient's own risk on the basis that any use by the recipient constitutes agreement to the terms of this disclaimer and waives any claim or liability against the providers hereof with respect to the use thereof. The recipient is obliged to inform any subsequent recipient of such terms.
IOSS standards may provide guidance supplemental to the requirements of local legislation. Nothing herein, however, is intended to replace, amend, supersede or otherwise depart from such requirements. In the event of any conflict or contradiction between the provisions of this document and local legislation, applicable laws shall prevail.

Article 4 (Effect and Amendment)
These Provisions become effective as from the date of the approval with the membership on the IOSS homepage on the web. IOSS custodian/owner may amend these Provisions as necessary in case important matters or events for the amendment arise such as the application of new services, improvement of a security system related to certificate issuance, and corrective order from government, etc. A user is deemed to approve the amended Provisions, unless a user raises a written objection against IOSS custodian/owner within 30(thirty) days from the date of the notification of the amended Provisions or the reception of the notice thereof.

Article 5 (Collection of Information and Use of thereof)
For IOSS service, following information is to be collected to a minimum extent; name, e-mail, telephone number (office, mobile), company/organization.

Article 6 (Protection of Personal Information)
IOSS Custodian shall not use the materials acquired after receiving applications for use for purpose other than to provide applicants with IOSS services and to prevent the unjustifiable issuance of certificate and financial and shall compensate for any damage resulting from the disclosure of personal information or said materials.

Article 7 (Termination)
At any time, for any or no reason, a user or IOSS Custodian may terminate the membership. The IOSS Custodian may also, at its sole discretion, terminate a user's use of any standard or suspend or limit a user's use of any standard part thereof. IOSS Custodian/owner will have no liability regarding the foregoing decisions.
